Lucifer’s Brownie.

So rich, so dark

These brownies are so dark I’ll go so far to call them Lucifer’s own. They’re super rich they’re practically chocolate ganache. A doppio and Dutch-processed cocoa make them ultra decadent!

Lucifer's Brownie.

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • ¾ cup white, granulated sugar
  • 2 shots espresso ((doppio))
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup unsweetened extra dark cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1-½ teaspoons salt
  • 8 ounces at least 60% dark chocolate, chopped
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8×8” pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Whisk the melted butter, oil, and sugar until light in a large bowl. Add the espresso shots, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake brownies for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with some brownie remnants stuck to it. Allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving.
